Rotary's commitment to Service Above Self is channeled through the Four Avenues of Service, which form the foundation of club activity. The Rotary Club of Strongsville has seven directors. Six directors oversee activities that fall under those four service categories. The seventh director - the Ways and Means director - oversees major fundraising activities for the club's major events, including the annual Chili Open Golf Classic and Kids Fest and Duck Race.

* Club Service: Club Service focuses on strengthening fellowship and ensuring the smooth functioning of Rotary clubs. 

* Community Service: Community Service is the opportunity Rotary clubs have to implement club projects and activities that improve life in the local community.

*International Service: International Service encompasses efforts to expand Rotary's humanitarian reach around the world and to promote world understanding and peace.

* Youth Service / Vocational Service: Youth Service recognizes the importance of empowering youth and young professionals through leadership development programs such as , , , and . Vocational Service involves club members serving others through their professions and aspiring to high ethical standards.
