Andy Motz was born on Father's Day, 1972, in Cincinnati and moved to Cleveland in 1997. He married Allison, a Strongsville Rotarian, in 2001, and has two daughters, 4 1/2 and 3, and a son, who is three months old. Among Andy's Rotarian activities, he chaired the Chili Open Golf Classic for three years. He received his Paul Harris fellowship in 2006 and his Harry Fuehrer fellowship in 2008.
Andy began is career teaching seventh grade at Nathan Hale Middle School and went to work for the Probate Court the following year. He later started a business that saved hospitals money on procurement of supply chain goods. The business was purchased by his present employer. Due to an assignment in Chicago, Andy left the club, but after switching to a position that allows him to spend more time in Cleveland with his family, he has rejoined the club..
