The Rotary Club of Strongsville is going
to help those in need through local Rotary Clubs in Missouri, where a tornado struck last month.
As you know, on May 22 an EF5 tornado
struck Joplin, Mo. 141 people were killed and 990 people injured and
thousands were left homeless. The Rotary Club of Strongsville is going
to help those in need through local Rotary Clubs in this area of
Missouri. At our June 10 & June 17th meetings we will pass the hat
for contributions to the Joplin tornado vistims. The Board today
approved $2,000 toward this relief fund in addition to the pass the hat
totals. The Strongsville Rotary Foundation is also in the process of
determing how much they can contribute.
