In late 2020, the Strongsville Rotary Foundation started the "Keep the Dreams Alive Campaign" to be able to fund the dreams of our neighbors in need. Take a look:

For 42 years, the Strongsville Rotary Club has supported hundreds of northeast Ohio’s non-profit organizations with gifts made to the community through our Strongsville Rotary Foundation. And just like most non-profit organizations, the Covid-19 pandemic has placed a hard stop to our activities for 2020 and 2021.

To manage social distancing and crowds, we are no longer able to welcome 3,000 kiddos and their families to our annual Kidsfest held in our Metroparks. The event’s popularity grows yearly as the only free event of its kind in a four-county area.

Each fall, our dazzling Taste in Strongsville sees top chefs from across the region entice our nearly 850 guests with culinary skills and treats. We’re not able to even dream of such a beautiful event during these times.

And even on the coldest February Saturday, we can’t cheer on 600 golfers or enjoy a seven-hour celebrity auction at our whacky Chili Open Golf Outing at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds.

Proceeds from these events provided over $1,250,000 in philanthropy to our region. This helps our neighbors learn to read, eat a wholesome meal, receive the therapy they need to speak better, enjoy a week of overnight camping, open a few presents during the holidays, and so much more-because the need is so great!

Each year, we ensure that 13 Strongsville students in public, parochial and vocational schools get a boost in their education. Over time, that means $225,000+ in scholarships.
