John Turnbull Gave His Bio
John was born in England on his grandfather's 80th birthday.  He grew up in Wales, Switzerland and England as his father relocated working for BP.  After a degree in Software Engineering from the University of Birmingham (UK) John moved to Cleveland, as his father was posted there after BP acquired Sohio, and earned a Masters in Computer Engineering.

He started working at Thunderstone, a search engine company, and 30 years later is still there, having acquired a share of the business when the previous owner retired.  John was married in 1994, celebrating his 25th wedding anniversary just before the pandemic hit, and has one son who is at Ohio State studying business.  Hobbies included skiing, motor racing, and martial arts, where he took over a martial arts school after his instructor moved, and still teaches martial arts and self-defense.
