Invite a Friend Meeting

On July 11th our speaker will be Mark “Munch” Bishop, who has been a fixture on Cleveland sports radio for the past 40 years.  If you know any prospective members who are into sports this would be a great meeting to invite them to.

Monday Golfers

If you are looking to play golf every Monday afternoon Bruce Kahn, Dan Cricks and others meet Monday for 9 holes at Valleaire Golf Club.  There are currently three tee-times reserved: 4:22, 4:30, and 4:37.  It's a social game, so no commitment to show every week.  If you will show up please let Dan or Bruce know in advance just so they know how many will be there.

Paul Harris Fellows

Dick Kiplinger and Assistant Governor Philip Weiss presented Paul Harris pins and certificates to two new Paul Harris Fellows, Amy Kocian and Barry Kuzmickas.

In addition they presented upgraded Paul Harris pins to Brian Krusz, Jay Dzurilla, and Dan Cricks.  In addition Jim Morehouse made a donation and will be recognized at a future meeting.  If you want to know your current Paul Harris standing, or Harry Fuerher for our Strongsville Rotary Foundation, you can ask Kip when you see him at the meeting, or you can login to ClubRunner and on your profile see the Paul Harris recognition level.  The Harry Fuehrer level is not included in ClubRunner.

Rotarians of the Month

Jamie Nixon presented Rotarian of the Month awards for May and June to Ravi and Bryan for their leadership of the Kids Fest and Duck Race.

The meeting then finished with a brief recap of the year and the numerous events and projects we undertook.
