From the high school last week we had the German Honor Society.

Michele Lynch did a spooky birthday celebration. Our October birthdays are: Kevin Lynch, Kevin Westover, John Turnbull, Dave Houle, Bruce Kahn and George Tomko. John won the gift bag.

 Our speakers were Doug Miller and Mike Sheppard from Polaris .
Polaris provides classes for high school students, has an adult education program, as well as supplying teachers into the school district where they teach as an integral part of the regular school program.
They do have an onsite restaurant, bakery and salon which do provide those services that you can visit their website and book.
For people looking to hire students the suggestion made was to get involved with Polaris early. The top students will be doing internships, and getting job offers long before they graduate.
