New Member Bio
Sarah recently graduated from Cleveland State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Studies. A 2020 high school graduate during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Sarah comes from a family deeply rooted in education—her mother is a school psychologist at Brunswick High School, her father is the principal at Strongsville High School, and her sisters are both college students pursuing degrees in environmental science and mathematics.
Professionally, Sarah works at Baird Private Wealth Management on the Brausch Delahunt team, where she began as an intern in 2022. Her work focuses on investment opportunities, market analysis, and leveraging corporate partnerships to provide optimal wealth management solutions. One of her team members, Michael Delahunt, is also a member of the Sandusky Rotary.
Sarah’s connection to Rotary is personal—she was a recipient of a Strongsville Rotary scholarship in 2020, which she credits as a pivotal factor in her ability to attend college. After experiencing the community’s support firsthand and seeing how warmly her father was welcomed into Strongsville, she’s eager to give back and become actively involved.
Clara Wilson O’Malley, PA-C, from Trillium Creek Dermatology, joined us to share insights into skin health and the services offered by her practice. Trillium Creek has been a valued sponsor of several of our recent events, and we’re excited to see their continued growth—most recently with the opening of a new Strongsville office in July 2024. Founded in Medina in 2003, the family-owned practice now has five locations and treated over 93,000 patients in the past year. Clara, who has over 10 years of experience as a physician assistant, emphasized the importance of regular skin checks, especially given that skin cancer is the most common cancer worldwide.
Trillium Creek is known for efficient, team-based care and a highly personal approach. Their clinics are staffed with scribes and medical assistants that allow providers to focus fully on their patients—often offering same-day appointments. Services span from common concerns like acne, eczema, and psoriasis to specialized procedures, including MOHS surgery for skin cancer and a full range of cosmetic dermatology treatments. The practice also offers HH Science, their own line of medical-grade skincare products.
Clara highlighted the importance of early detection when it comes to skin cancer, encouraging annual skin checks for those 40 and older. She also shared the ABCDEs of Melanoma as a simple way to spot potentially dangerous changes:
Asymmetry, Border irregularity, Color variation, Diameter larger than 6mm, and Evolving shape or size. If you’ve never had a full skin check—or if you notice anything new or changing—it’s worth getting it evaluated.
