Rotary Club News

With the shelter at home order coming into effect tomorrow we are planning on having a virtual meeting on Friday via Zoom as I think we'll all be wanting to see a friendly face.  An invitation with the URL for you to connect will be sent out by the middle of the week.  You will be able to use your smartphone, tablet or computer to connect and see the meeting, as well as a dial in number available if you just want to listen.  We will make a replay available afterwards if you missed it.

If you have any happy bucks or messages that want to share we can make that happen during the meeting, or if you want to prerecord a message on your phone and share it via iCloud or Google Photos with john@turnbull.org we'll get those out for you.

If you know of someone who needs assistance during this time please reach out to the club.

Happy Bucks

A few messages to share.

Employee Relief Fund

George Schindler has created a GoFundMe at https://gf.me/u/xry5h8 to provide assistance to the nearly 400 employees at Hospitality Restaurants who are now unemployed.  If you are able to "leave a tip" it will be greatly appreciated.

Business Tips

Dan Cricks sent a message: "I would like to offer to any Rotarian who has a small business who would like some tips about keeping some semblance of business going or what they can do to be in position for success once things settle down, I'm willing to do at no charge, by appointment only --- For Rotarians only.

I've been very busy this week doing just that for my clients. In fact I've helped few who were ready to close the doors and they've made several thousands of dollars in sales since our conversations."

In addition John Turnbull is available if you have questions about technology, and how to use the remote technology, or if you just want to test and practice with Zoom before Friday.
