Food Bank Friday was missing from the announcements last week. If you did not bring food we will be collecting again this Friday. Special requests are canned corn and canned fruit.
Queen of Hearts
Daniel Perez's table won the The Queen of Hearts drawing and is responsible for putting up the banners and selling tickets this week. There are 31 cards left and the pot is currently $592.
Interact Club
The Interact Club (Rotary affiliated club) at the high school seems to be pretty active this year, and we are in need of a liaison between the clubs. The Interact Club meets Thursday afternoons after school (~2:30pm). If you are interested and able to attend some of their meetings please contact Jeff Ellis.
Prize Vault
Ticket sales for the Prize Vault raffle went on sale last Friday. The grand prize is worth over $5,000 with $1,000 cash, $1,000 lottery tickets, and over $3,000 of gift certificates. As part of our commitment to local businesses the club purchased gift cards, and are grateful to the businesses that then donated additional value on the gift cards. You can order your tickets online at http://trcs.info/vault
New Years Eve Fundraiser
Details on the Irish New Years Eve event are at page/irish-new-year-s-eve-fundraiser. Or see Pat Greco at the meeting for early access and best seats.
Dan Crick's wrote an email that you can see here and copy and paste into an email to your lists and give them an opportunity for a wonderful New Years Eve celebration.
Salvation Army Bell Ringing
We will have our traditional Bell Ringing for the Salvation Army on Friday December 10th from 10am to 8pm. The rules will be the same as last year, due to Covid, there will only be in one bell ringer at a time, every half hour. You can sign up at on ClubRunner, or at a Friday meeting.
Monthly Dues
There have been several questions about the new billing invoices from Rotary. Here are some FAQs:
Can I still pay by check? Yes. You can still mail a check or bring a check and give to Barb at a meeting like before.
Can I still pay quarterly/yearly? Yes. If you prefer to pay quarterly or yearly you can do so.
Can I setup automatic payments? Yes. One of the reasons for switching to monthly payments, and including the installation banquet, was to keep the monthly amount the same every month. You can either use the Bill Pay feature at your bank to send a recurring payment from your bank account, or visit http://trcs.info/dues to signup at PayPal to automatically use a credit card every month.
Why does the bill seem higher than I remember? Two reasons. The cost of food has increased, so the meal costs were increased for the first time in over a decade. Secondly the installation banquet fee is included in the monthly dues, rather than an additional charge applied in the spring.
