Recognition

Ashley recognizes the Kaminski's for organizing a great social event at Schnitz Ale.

Rotary Moment

George Tomko shared a video from one of the events the club hosted in the past.  In this case it was a DARE run, from 1992-3, which was a 5K run, that started and ended at the water tower, and included a loop through Ledgewood, with the hill on Falling Water adding to the challenge.

Speaker

Our speakers were Trevor Clatterbuck of Fresh Fork Market and Adam Lambert of Ohio City Provisions, who talked about their farm in Amish country where they raise turkeys among other things.  They shared the different types of turkey available, and how to brine a turkey properly so that it will taste the best for Thanksgiving.

Fresh Fork Market is a farm buying club, where members can subscribe for a season and get a weekly grocery grab bag of what's in season that can be picked up in their community.

Ohio City Provisions is a butcher/grocer that stocks all-local foods.
