Queen of Hearts

Ashley and TJ won the drawing and are responsible for putting up the banners and selling tickets this week.  They drew the queen, so we'll be starting with a new deck on Friday.
Arbor Day
We will be having our Arbor Day packaging on Thursday April 25 (followed by a social at Square 22), and delivery to the elementary schools on Friday April 26th.  Times are yet to be determined.  There is a signup sheet online, and will be at the meeting tomorrow.

Scholarships
Mike Weber is looking for a co-chair for the scholarship committe, and will be looking for help grading the applications in April.  If you are interested please let Ashley Gay or Mike Weber know.
 
Our "Service Above Self" scholarship applications are available on our website and at the high school guidance office.  It is open to all Strongsville resident high school seniors whichever school they are going to.  The application deadline is April 1st.
Photos with the Easter Bunny
Our club is supporting the city's Photos with the Easter Bunny event on March 23rd.  A signup sheet will be at the meeting tomorrow as we are looking for about 6 volunteers to help.

The Top 5% from the high school visited.  To make it into the top 5% students needed about a 4.6 GPA
New Member Bio
Christine Floerke gave her new member bio.  She grew up in Michigan, and worked as a cardiology nurse, often with patients being transferred to the Cleveland Clinic.  She eventually moved to Cleveland and worked at the Cleveland Clinic as a nurse, and was also in medical sales.  She now works as a integrative health coach.
 
Christine has gone on a medical mission, and enjoys fishing, especially king salmon in Michigan, as well as some ocean fishing and caught a 160lb striped marlin.  She also worked at the Cleveland Sight Center, and also joined the blind sailing club where they taught the blind how to sail.
Tour of Playhouse Square
George Tomko proposed a tour of Playhouse Square on May 11th late morning, followed by lunch at the HofbrÀuhaus.  We would like to have at least 30 people sign up to confirm the tour, so please sign up at https://portal.clubrunner.ca/4880/event/playhouse-square-tour if you'd like to go.
Foundation Elections
The Strongsville Rotary Foundation will be holding elections in April for 3 officers and 2 trustees on the board.  Officers server a 1 year term, and trustees a two year term.  If you are interested reach out to Ashley or any current member of the Foundation board.
